Arts, Crafts and Messy Play

Jake has really started to get into arts and crafts this year which has meant I have learnt to hunt out where the best bits and bobs are to buy, what he enjoys doing and what tools are essential. I have also learnt that messy play is a must for a toddler and is a great way for them to learn about textures, how to express themselves and to have great fun!

DIY: Personalised Gift

As personalised gifts have become more and more popular, last year I decided to have a go at creating my own special Father’s day present for my husband.

After looking for inspiration on the internet I chose the idea of creating a family picture made up of our names. Using scrabble pieces to spell them out and linking them up was the perfect choice because he loves the board game. Continue reading
